Exercise...ugh!

I hate exercise so much!! But I have to do it. I'm not worthy to be a woman!! (Although my Nanna says I shine beauty).

My youngest brother Phillip (he's almost 18) ambushed me before the caffeine in my coffee had a chance to kick in and suggested I start walking. Not what I wanted to hear, but, because I wasn't fully awake, I agreed. And so, we walked.

I'm planning on moaning and groaning, mostly, on this blog (because no one cares in real life, and also because I don't actually expect anyone to read this, it's just my way of venting), interspersed with comments about
what else is going on in my life. Sci-fi, mostly. I have no life. :-(

Anyway, Day One was a Wednesday, I think, about three weeks ago and we walked 50 minutes downhill to TAFE (I'm studying Accounting & Phillip's doing something with computers, both are Cert IV classes) and I was quite proud because I wasn't out of breath. I usually am after the seven minutes walk from the town centre to TAFE. Anywayz, I was still proud of me when the time came to walk home. So home we walked. And walked. And walked. There were hills and then there were hills!!! It took an hour and a half to get home. I was hot. I was sweaty. I was tired. And I was no longer proud of me. I was too...ugh. This continued for ages (as in for the rest of the week) and then it got worse. We've walked an additional two hours the last two Tuesdays and even go to town and back on the weekends. It's a two hour walk to from our house to our mother's and we do that Sundays. It takes even longer to get home - almost 3 hours!!

I lost four kilos in the first week but now they've piled back on and they won't budge. Curse my body and its unwillingness to budge weight.

I'm watching the Season 6 marathon of Stargate SG-1 on TV1 because...I have no idea, actually. I love Jonas Quinn - don't get me wrong - but I love Daniel Jackson even more. And I really miss Kawalsky. I cannot believe they killed him off!! Jay Acovone is so ruggedly handsome (I love that description) and I miss not having him on the screen (even if it has only been for 4 eps).

Speaking of hot sci-fi guys, Connor Trinneer is on next week. It's a good thing I enjoy gazing upon Richard Dean Anderson {and Corin Nemec, too} otherwise I'd be severely put out over missing Trip and Malcolm last night...and to some extent Archer - I've been dreaming about being married to him lately. Then again, I've been dreaming a lot about a guy I know too, so the Archer Dreams may not actually mean anything.
