ZOMG! AN UPDATE!

*smacks self in forehead* DUUUUUDE!! I can't believe how many times I forget about this!! It's unreal, honestly. I just get so caught up on devART that I forget I have this.

Anyway, not much has been happening to me since Deathly Hallows came out, so if anyone is reading this, be assured you have missed only approx. 9 months worth of nothing. =p I'm sure you can handle that. If, however (and as I suspect) I'm the only one who does read this ... then once again I'm talking to myself and I really should stop.

But that isn't likely.

Well, I found about nine jobs to apply for today, not to mention the six from last week that I found yesterday (which fortunately haven't expired!) so that's what ... 15 jobs for this week? And that's only so far, since today is naught but a Tuesday.

I don't get how weeks start on Monday. They call them weekends, right (Saturday and Sunday, that is) because they're the final two days of the week. But for 24 years, I've been labouring under the assumption that they're called weekends because they bookend the weekdays. And apparantly, I was so wrong on that one that people have laughed at me. =( Oh well. Not to worry. I'm happy with my delusions.

Been thinking out some more fanfiction - HP mostly, which is sad because I really need to do a bit more on Crossing Worlds, but it's not very Charlie-centric - damn Bill, he's such an attention whore! - so I've sorta lost interest in it for now. On the plus side, it will (eventually) be dealing with one of my fave fanon pairings - Sirius x Fleur. Can't you just see them being so pretty together? ... Why does that question make me think of Legolas nancing his way throughout the story? See, that's another reason I fail when it comes to forward progress with my fics. I get so easily distracted. *sighs*

So for Harry Potter, I've got two different Charlie x OC fics (each has a different OC - Djana Baker and Melissa Potter); one Sirius x OC fic (I can't remember what I named her, but she's a Dragonlord); one Bill x OC fic (Eden Potter in Crossing Worlds - which was supposed to be Charlie x Eden, but nooooo!) and one Remus x OC (and I'll be buggered if I can remember what she was called, either. I know I had her set up as Sirius' sister, but I started it waaaaay back before OotP was printed {which just goes to show you how bad I am at finishing these things!} and I didn't know Sirius' family history, and I just couldn't be bothered changing it now).

Then for Stargate, I've got two Lorne-centric Atlantis fics (which are again romance ... WHY oh WHY are all my fics romance?!?! Irks me something shocking, that does! ... Anyway, the first one has an OC named Melissa O'Neill {another Melissa? Damn} who is a blatant Mary-Sue and the other has a reasonably realistic character named Alice Sheridan which is by far my favourite of the two); I've got to get some more done on They Eat The Dirt; as well as a fairy tale contest entry that's mostly done (it's blatantly misusing Hansel & Gretal). Oi. Oh yeah, and a challenge fic to complete. Fortunately for me and my remaining miniscule shred of sanity, the last three aren't romantic in the least. They're actually humour. *dances with sheer joy*
